About the Owners
We’re Barbie & Dwight, owners of Country Loft. Barbie is creative, and Dwight is skilled. She puts it on paper, and he brings it to life. Together, we’re building the business of our dreams.
Country Loft has been years in the planning, praying, and making, and we are so excited to offer a space everyone can enjoy. From the smallest details to the big picture, so much of Country Loft has been shaped by the things we love: creativity, hard work, the outdoors, and bringing people together.
When we’re not working on the venue, you can often find us enjoying another one of our favourite things: our motorcycle. We love getting out for a bike ride, exploring new places, and simply enjoying time together on the open road.
Country Loft is more than just a venue to us. It’s a reflection of who we are, what we love, and the dream we’ve spent years bringing to life. We’re grateful to share it with you and can’t wait to see all the memories made here!

What began as a working barn has been thoughtfully transformed into the venue it is today. Over the years, every renovation, detail, and corner of the space has been shaped with intention, prayer, and dedication. The barn and loft renovations were completed in 2022, with events beginning shortly after. In 2025, the outdoor wedding space was added, expanding the property to host larger celebrations while preserving its peaceful country charm. Each stage of this journey was carried out with care to create a space that feels warm, timeless, and ready to welcome unforgettable moments for years to come.
About the Venue
Country Loft is located on a peaceful rural acreage just 10 minutes south of Steinbach, Manitoba. The property offers a quiet countryside setting that feels private and spacious, yet remains easily accessible for guests and vendors. It features the renovated barn, the upstairs Loft, the outdoor wedding venue, and dedicated parking areas, all thoughtfully arranged to support a smooth and enjoyable event experience. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and surrounded by gorgeous mature trees, adding natural beauty and privacy. Your ceremony space can also be moved to different areas of the property, allowing you to choose the perfect backdrop for your special day.
